Play is a child's natural language. It's how they process feelings, experiences, and the world around them long before they have the words to explain it. Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) uses that language intentionally. In a session, your child leads the way in a specially prepared room, and I follow, using specific therapeutic responses that help them work through what's going on for them — whether that's big emotions, a hard transition, anxiety, grief, or something else. It looks like play, but it's built on a clear clinical framework aimed at helping your child feel understood, build coping skills, and grow in confidence.

Common reasons families seek therapy include big emotions and meltdowns, anxiety, life transitions (divorce, new siblings, moves), grief and loss, trauma, behavioral concerns, self-esteem struggles, school struggles, and parent-child relationship challenges. Please reach out via the patient portal at least 24 hours prior to your session time to cancel. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) and no shows will incur a $100 fee to the card on file.

Once a client starts here, their time slot is permanently theirs. Afternoon spots only open when a current client completes therapy and is discharged. Spots are filled first-come, first-served off the waitlist. The afternoon waitlist is available to established clients.
